Lie down and nod off
Just drifting from phase to plane,
Rest your tired eyes,
Best keep this time free,
You’ll need it sooner or later,
Don’t regret it, if missed,
It’s really not that bad.
How could you do without it?
Not sure you or I can!
Nice to be able to have
A quiet, soft place to reside.
Lost souls don’t have this privilege,
As it is a privilege,
You know!
So next time you are in
A state of rest be sure,
Not too take it for granted.
Time after next it maybe your last,
Not just in bed.
Nails equate to the last
Sleep your dreary mind will take.
