17... Mud will never get me down

Here we go, girl in hand, ready for a band,

Tent, boots and fun all ready to go,

Just don't give me that curse again,

What, oh no, not again!

As the rain fell, the mud grew,

As the mud grew, the hearts dampen,

As the hearts dampen, the laughter dries,

But wait a spot of sun and the word...

Glastonbury is HAILED,

And the crowd roared.

And roar they did,

Roared so loud they went horse,

But still they march on,

In search of hedonism,

in the highest degree.

One of few places left for pure fun and love,

Fun is great but love is the key.

Its all nearly over, ready to return to normality,

The fun dies,

But the love will forever prevail.
